Smithonia Pickaxes come in three varities: Wooden, Iron, and Gold.

Wooden pickaxes represent lowly miners working the mine on behalf of the Firestone Mining Company. This is the easiest way to get resources from the Firestone Mine in Smithonia.

Iron pickaxes represent a private contractor that the player has hired and sent to Firestone Mine. They are more efficient at mining resources than the wooden pickaxe miners in Smithonia.

Gold pickaxes represent a miner who is a member of the Mining Guild. These miners are the best in all of the Retrieved Lands and yield more resources than both the wood and iron pickaxe miners.
